Winter activities
If you would prefer to take it easy, you can take extended winter hikes through the Ahrntal. A picturesque landscape lies before you clad in glittering white, through which many trails wind. A winter holiday in the Ahrntal also offers plenty for cross-country skiers: 51 kilometres of well-groomed trails run around the villages of Rein in Taufers, Mühlwald, Weißenbach, and in Heilig Geist at Kasern.
While snowshoe hiking, you can enjoy snow-covered nature and the surrounding mountain backdrop. In numerous alpine pastures, you can stop and fortify yourself with traditional Ahrntal specialties. In the Ahrntal, there are also several skating rinks where you and your family can draw lively circles.
